Appeal for information - e-bikes and sur-rons |

Resident
The Gamesley Safer Neighbourhood Team is aware of ongoing concerns raised by members of the community regarding the use of E-Bikes and sur-rons along the black path, as well as in other parts of Gamesley. These are generally non-pedal bikes with no number plate. We recognise the impact that the dangerous and anti-social use of these vehicles can have on the safety and well-being of residents, and we are actively working to address the situation.
As part of our enquiries, we are appealing to residents for their assistance. If you have witnessed the use of these vehicles in a manner that has caused concern, or if you have CCTV footage from doorbells/dashcams/any other sources that may assist our investigations, we ask you to share this information with us.
We are particularly interested in footage or information that may help identify those responsible for offences or anti-social behaviour involving these vehicles. No matter how insignificant it may seem, the information you provide could prove vital in assisting our enquiries.
Please could you send any footage or information to: Stacey.martin@derbyshire.police.uk Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can use www.crimestoppers-uk.org
We appreciate the continue support of our community. By working together and sharing information, we can help reduce anti-social behaviour, identify those responsible, and keep Gamesley a safe place to live, work and visit.
Thank you for your assistance.
